Johanna Kurkela in Seinäjoki

This last weekend I have been in Seinäjoki to attend Johanna Kurkela´s concert. It was a really nice concert, and the venue was also really cosy. You could choose your seats free and there where also couches and tables.

The venue

If you´re interested you can check up some songs of her.

Here are my favourites:

- Rakkauslaulu
- Minä Rakastan Elämää
- Jossain Mestän Takana
- Sun Särkyä Anna Mä En
- Tuo Se Mulle
- Ainutlaatuinen

Here´s a little video of Johanna performing "Minä Rakastan Elämää":

Helsinki II

Well, on sunday before driving back up to north, we did a longer walk through the city and the harbour. It was such a beautiful weather, a bit windy and cold, but still sunny. =)

Here some photos:

Helsinki & Tampere

So let´s start with my trip to Helsinki. This time my friend and me drove by my car, cause it´s cheaper to go by car than by train or bus and it´s actually much more comfortable since you can start driving whenenver you want and don´t need to look for the schedule.

Anyway, we drove to Tampere and went to Tampere-talo at first, then we drove to another friend of mine, where we had a sleep-over and on Saturday we drove more 1,5 hours to Helsinki where we visited more friends of mine and where I got another tattoo. =) I´ll post photos of the tattoo tomorrow.

After that we went to the Sunrise Avenue concert, which has been really amazing! So if you have the chance to visit one of their concerts, go there! It´s worth it!

Sunrise Avenue played in "The Circus" in the centre of Helsinki. It was really easy to find and if you go there by car you can park in Forum or Kamppi. They are usually not so expensive on weekends in the late evening / night. But maybe first look at the prices, they might change in some seasons.

The Circus is a really nice location, with bar and a cosy sitting area upstairs from where you can watch the whole audience downstairs and the stage of course.

The doors openend at 20:00 and the concert started at about 21:30. The waiting in front of the stage was a bit bad, especially with my new tattoo on my foot, but it was absolutely worth it!

Sunrise Avenue came on stage at 21:30 and the crowd went totally wild. There were young girls, teenagers, but also adults and older persons so it was totally mixed, which was really nice.

The band was into their music and enjoyed every second of playing. You could really see that.
They played all of my favourite Sunrise Avenue songs, which are:

- Fairytale Gone Bad
- Hollywood Hills
- I Don´t Dance
- Forever Yours

I don´t really remember the setlist of that evening, but I Don´t Dance, Fairytale Gone Bad and Forever Yours they played quite in the beginning of the show and Hollywood Hills was the last song I think.

Thanks to Sunrise Avenue for this great gig!

Back...

I´m back after some weeks with a lot of trips, travelling and so on...

I have been in Germany for some days, at Sunrise Avenue´s concert in Helsinki, at Johanna Kurkela´s concert in Seinäjoki, visiting a very good friend of mine in Pännäinen and I have been busy all the time.

But now I have time to write about those trips and I hope you´ll enjoy to read!

Little summer trip :)

I have made a little trip some weeks ago to a lake, which is aprox. 5 minutes driving away from my flat. It´s so great there and I have taken a lot of photos, but here are just the "most beautiful" ones. ;)
I walked around the lake and I was sitting on a big stone for some minutes to enjoy the sun and relax a bit and I have taken this right photo from that place. :)
It´s really good to walk around a lake or in the forest to relax and to get your head free from everything.
This little trip took about 1,5 hours, so not too long, but absolutely enough for me to relax. It was such a beautiful weather that I had to go out! Since this summer hasn´t been so warm and sunny this year, you have to enjoy every single sunny day!

IMAGINARIUM´s release in 2011

Nightwish´s album "Imaginarium" will be released already in December 2011! These are good news since they have planned to release it in 2012.

Original message from Nightwish:

"Imaginarium will be released already at the end of this year!
More info about the schedule, track list and first single release coming up in a few weeks. Stay tuned!"

Their movie will be released in the first half of 2012.

Here you can find a little piece of the 11th song of Imaginarium. This is a Mix from DJ Orkidea which is used for the entrance of the baseball team Kiteen Pallo. This song is based on the main riff and chorus of track 11 on Imaginarium.

Moving to Finland - Final

And there it is... the final shield which tells us we will be soon in Finland... finally. :)
Unfortunately we hadn´t spent any time in Helsinki, because we drove straight down from the ferry up to my new living place.
We drove about 7 hours to North.
The scenery was very beautiful, but as I said, we were just sitting in the car and driving... but for sightseeing we would have been too tired. ;)
This last photo I like very special. To drive over a bridge and a lake...

The first three days we have spent in a hotel there since in my new flat there has been no bed, couch,... nothing. We needed to fix everything and that took time. ;)

Moving to Finland III

From Warsow we drove again about 12 hours to Riga, Latvia. I have felt so sorry for my cats, cause they had to stay of course so long in the car. Of course they have gotten food and water and I gave them the possibility to go out, when we made a break, but they were afraid of the noises that they wanted to stay in their boxes at that time.
The left photo shows my cat Kiran, which is about 1,5 years, the right photo shows my cat Vivi, which is just 4 months. ;) Both have been most of the time really calm and quiet and slept almost the whole way. :) I´m very proud of them! :)

Riga has been also a really nice city, but there we had again a problem in the hotel, which was also Radisson Blue. I really like Radisson Blue, but this time we just hadn´t much luck. ;) But the hotel was very nice anyway! Our car was just too high for the garage of the hotel, so we needed to find another solution and it ended up that a really nice guy from the reception of the hotel gave us the possibility to park our car in the "personal parking area" of the hotel. Thanks a lot for that!

I haven´t taken so many photos of Riga unfortunately, cause we have been even more tired than we were in Warsow, so we just went to a restaurant there and I took some photos while passing by at some buildings.
But Riga is also a visit worth! :)

Moving to Finland II

So the trip was actually a very looong trip. From my hometown we drove about 5 hours to Frankfurt Oder and spent one night there in a little and really nice hotel. On the next day we drove from there to Warsow, Poland which took us about 10 hours. We have been so tired that I unfortunately haven´t taken so many photos of Warsow, what is quite bad because it´s a really beautiful city! But here are some at least:

We drove so long to Warsow and as we arrived there, so many things happened, we haven´t expected. At first we wanted to get bencin at the gas station. But we couldn´t pay with Euros!??! Poland is in the European Union, they have their own currancy, but usually they should accept Euros. Anyway, we had to pay with Mastercard. Then we arrived in the hotel and checked-in and had to get all the things for my cats in my hotel room. That means, the cat toilet, the sand for the cat toilet, food and so on and of course my own luggage. It was so embarassing to walk through the hotel lobby with all that stuff...
But it was my decision to take the cats with me to Finland, what I haven´t regretted yet, so I had to handle with that.

This second photo was by the way taken from the window of my hotel room. I had a really nice view from there!

After some minutes relaxing in our hotel rooms, we went out of the hotel and went to a little restaurant on the other side of the street. It was a greek restaurant and the food was so yummie and cheap! :)

The funny thing was that this little restaurant accepted Euros! And the gas station we went before and also our hotel we stayed for one night didn´t accept Euros. I didn´t understand that a Radisson Blue Hotel doesn´t accept Euros, since it´s really big and famous hotel, which exists mostly in every big city and where a lot of international people are staying for some nights.

This third photo was taken also by me when I walked through Warsow for some time. ;)

I walked through Warsow because I wanted to see this building from a closer point, since I just have seen it from the restaurant we have been eating. ;)

Moving to Finland I

To update my blog, in which I haven´t written again for so long, I´ll start with my moving to Finland. :)

There was so much going on with moving, school, traveling and other stuff that I hadn´t much time for writing here.

All started of course in Germany with packing and packing and packing...

That was our floor short time before leaving for the trip. But this is actually nothing against how it looked some hours before... Anyway... I took some photos of my pets (since I hadn´t any photos of them) to take the photos with me to Finland to remember them. For example my too birds, which will stay in my mum´s home I´ll miss. They have been always quite loud, especially when we watched Tv, they thought they need to speak with the Tv voices. :) Sometimes it was annoying, but I will miss them anyway.
I´ll also miss my two rabbits, which we usually wanted to give away to other persons. But unfortunately we haven´t found anyone. They are just about 1,5 years but I think people who want to get rabbits, they want to get young ones. And another important thing for us was and still is, that the rabbits are staying normal house pets and not end up in the kitchen... Luckily my mum and her boyfriend will take care of them until we have found somebody who wants to take care of them and to live with them. Hopefully, we will find a nice new place for them.

I have a lot of pets, I had to leave in Germany, what is really sad but I couldn´t take all of them with me to Finland. At first, it would have been to stressful for all of them, second it´s not allowed to have so many pets in a student flat and third I don´t have time and space here for so many pets.
My dog will also stay in my mum´s place, which is really good for the dog since she is already an older lady and it would have been too stressy for her. ;)
I know they are all doing fine in my "old" home, so I don´t have to be worried about them. Just sometimes it feels strange that I have left them in Germany, but it´s a good feeling to know that they are doing fine so far, so I don´t regret it at all. ;)

About full-booked ferrys and bad banks ...

Hello again. :)

I´m still in Germany and next week it´s going back to Finland. I´m really really excited and also happy to leave this moving stress behind.
I knew all the time that moving is stressful, especially moving from one to another country BUT with so many problems I haven´t thought I would have to manage.

At first my mum and me went to a bank where my mum saved money for me for about 18 years. So there´s money on and of course I would need that money if I will buy a car, etc. So we went there and asked how much is it all together. Then they told us that we cannot get the money since we don´t have the original paper. We just had a copy of that paper and our passports which should be enough in my opinion.
In that original paper is just written that my mum saved for me money and our birthdates, birthplaces and all that personal details you always have to fill out. So we thought it´s enough to bring our passports with us and the copy of the original paper since this was the only thing we have found at home. But they said again and again "Without the original paper it´s not possible to get the money."
And I asked myself what happens then if someone´s house or flat was burning and the paper was in there? Or if you just lost it while moving? Then they answered that we have to wait 6 months to get the money because they will make an official writing public that this original paper is lost and we would have to wait 6 months if somebody comes there with informations or the original paper. But hello? Just my mum and me have a right for that money and the original paper, so in my opinion anyone could come with the original paper but that person has no right for the money. But anyway after long discussions and phonecalls and speaking with many people we have gotten a meeting date on Friday in that bank and on phone they said we would just have to wait for 2 months... Thanks bank! Better than 6 months but anyway shitty.

The other thing is that we couldn´t book a ferry earlier since I had to wait how it´s going with my driving-licence. So as I got the informations when I have the practical test (I have passed today. ;) we wanted to book a ferry. Unfortunately all ferrys until the 5th of August are full-booked. No matter from which destination we tried to book. And my mum needs to be back in Germany on the 12th of August and my school starts in Finland on the 9th of August, so to start going by ferry on the 5th of August would be too late. So we decided to drive by car trough Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estland. From Tallinn we will take the ferry to Helsinki. :)

We will stay one night in Warschau, Poland, which is on that following photo I borrowed from google. :)

After that we will drive about 900 km to Riga, which is in Latvia and showed in the next coming photo, which I also borrowed from google, since I have never been there. ;) But I will try to take lots of photos of all cities we are going and I hope we have at least time for an hour or more to walk through the cities there. To Warschau we have by the way to drive about 1000 km. :-/ So a very looong drive! Bääh! But there´s no other possibility.

Here´s the borrowed photo from Riga. It looks really nice, like in a fairytale and I´m looking forward to go there! As I wrote already ... Hopefully we will have a bit time for looking around and taking pictures.

But still there is a lot to manage and to pack before the loooooong trip.

Tomorrow I´ll leave back to Germany and I´ll be there about 4 weeks until I get back to Finland ...

TV-evening ;)

Just came back from town and now I´ll try to watch all of my favourite german tv-series I have missed today or yesterday. Luckily it´s possible to watch them online! :)

Here we go:

At first "Unter Uns" which means something like "Within Us" in English. It´s playing in Cologne, Germany in a famous street there called "Schillerstrasse" and there is a more-family house and they are all connected with eachother. Like family, friends, girlfriend/boyfriend and so on. It´s really funny, sometimes sad and exciting but always really cool to watch! I watch it everyday since years and I never get bored. ;) Unfortunately a lot of actors or actresses who I really liked left the serie, like Birte Glang a couple of months ago. But good luck to her! :)
Another similar serie is "Alles Was Zählt" which means something like "Everything that counts" and it´s playing in Essen, Germany and usually it´s mostly about the family Steinkamp which has a big sportscenter and they always have some problems within the family or with success and the sportscenter or something else. It´s probably more dramatic than Unter Uns is but also really nice to watch! And it´s not just about family Steinkamp. There are also other families or living communities which are somehow connected with family Steinkamp but they have their own things. ;)

Another favourite serie of me is "Daniela Katzenberger". She´s a german show girl and she´s absolutely funny! She moderated already some tv-shows, she has an own Café on Mallorca, where she doesn´t work anymore since she has too much to do with other things and she has an own tv show since some months. It showed her daily live and now she is searching for a new showgirl, so it´s kind of a casting show. ;)

The other thing I´ll watch today is "Goodbye Deutschland", which is a tv-serie about people who are moving to another country. They can apply there and then a camera team films them for some weeks/months and you can see how complicated/easy it is to move to a country, which things you need to know and bla bla bla. ;)

So now I need to start watching, otherwise I´d be sitting here until the early morning. ;)

Good night and sleep all well! :)

Shopping was successfully!

Sooo I have found and also bought a new couch today. I´ll get it in August, since I´m in Germany for July. :)

It´s really beautiful! Here it is:

It´s of course black and it has some ornaments in the pillows (like flowers) and it´s so soft to sit on it! :) I´m sure also my two lovely cats will like it!

I have bought a lot of other stuff too, but I´ll post photos of it later since I´m already heading to town by bike soon.

"Shopping"-Part I over

So I went to the bank to manage some things, went to the office where I have gotten the flat and signed the contract and bought a DVD for the kids.

My guestchild Hanna had celebrated her birthday (which is on the midsummer weekend) already that last friday with friends since on midsummer no one has time to celebrate a birthday ´cause all are going to their summer cottages with their friends.

My present for her was the first DVD of the Shrek movies and she absolutely loved it! :)

So today I thought we could rent the second one but since the "video-rent office" was still closed, I thought I´ll buy the second one also for them. I arrived home and we immediately watched it. :)

I can recommend it! It´s a really nice and funny movie!

But later, when I have free from work it´s going to the REAL shopping. ;)

Shopping?

Good morning to everyone!

Today I´m thinking about going shopping for my flat. That means just some things I could reserve or buy and keep then at my friend´s place until I come back from Germany in the end of July/beginning of August.

So let´s see if I find something today, like a couch, bed or dinnertable and chairs or at least some accessoires.
