Next weekends will be exciting ...

I´m so looking forward to the next three weekends! This coming weekend will be more relaxing since the family of my german friend will come to Finland to visit her and I´ll just go to meet them for a coffee or something. Maybe we´ll all go out in the evening, but not more. But the weekend after I´ll visit a good friend of mine who´s living on the Finnish/Swedish border and we´ll have already some plans what to do. :)

And the weekend after going to Vaasa, I´ll go by train to Joensuu and a friend will pick me up there, then going to a concert of Kotiteollisuus and on Saturday I´ll go by bus or train to Kitee and let´s see if we´ll stay there and go to a bar or go back to Joensuu in the evening.

I hope everything will go fine, because I need to take the trains (to Vaasa and one week later to Joensuu) both at 15.20, so I need to leave work at 15.00 o´clock and I hope my guestfamily won´t mind and I can leave already so early. :-/ I´ll check this up tomorrow with them. But there´s another thing I don´t know how to explain them, because I really like them, but sometimes you need to make decisions and this time it´s for me a very positive decision but for them maybe not and I´m afraid that they are sad or angry. :(

I´m sorry but I couldn´t make it ready tonight. I need to go to sleep soon and I still have to make some little details and I think I´ll get it ready tomorrow evening and then I´ll post a photo of course!

Congratulation, dear Jenni!

As I have written, I watched the Emma Gaala tonight on finnish TV and it was amazing! I was very happy as I have gotten to know a couple of days ago, that Jenni is nominated in a lot of categories and I also knew for sure that she´ll get some prices of them, since she is just an amazing singer!

But that she´ll get 7 prices, I haven´t expected!

So big congrats to Jenni Vartiainen for 7 Emmas because she honestly deserve them all!

Jenni went 7 times on the stage to get the prices and I just remember 4 of the categories she has won:

• Best Album (Seili)
• Best Single (En haluu kuolla tänä yönä)
• Best Music Video (Missä Muruseni On)
• Best Singer 2010

I´m sure there will be some videos of the Emma Gaala uploaded on youtube within the next days and then I´ll post them here. :-)

Lazy day ...

Today I´m not feeling much better than yesterday but at least I´m not just lying in bed all day today, so it´s quite okay. I´m sitting in my room, watching some serie on the internet and eating ice-cream and Pulla. (Pulla is a finnish candy).

It´s not a very cold day today, just -7,5 degrees but it´s not a nice weather outside, since it´s just grey and the sun doesn´t come out today.

I´ll be back this evening and I´ll write about the finnish Emma Gaala then. For all the rock and metal fans out there: Apocalyptica is nominated for the best music video and Sunrise Avenue, Lauri Ylönen from The Rasmus and much more will be at that gala tonight. :-)

Finally weekend ...

I´m so happy that it´s finally Friday today because I have never waited more for the weekend than during this week. Last Sunday I came back home really late from Helsinki´s FME (Finnish Metal Expo) and of course I couldn´t sleep immediately, so on Monday I was of course totally tired. It was absolutely worth it to take that 6,5 hours by train over me to get from my place to Helsinki on Friday and back on Sunday but this week was horrible. After feeling almost dead on Monday, I have gotten the flu on Tuesday ... and it was getting worse and worse with every day. Yesterday I didn´t go to my Finnish language course since I couldn´t even speak. Today´s morning and afternoon it was still very bad but at the moment I´m feeling a bit better ... hopefully it´ll last and the flu will be away very soon.

I´ll watch now some german series on the internet and soon going to sleep. I´m looking forward to the Emma Gaala which I´ll watch at 20.10 in the evening on finnish TV tomorrow. It´s a gala where finnish music artists from all music genres will get a price special categories like "Best Album 2010", "Best Music Video 2010" and so on ... My favourite finnish singer Jenni Vartiainen is nominated for a lot of categories, so let´s hope she´ll get the prices. :-)

New blog name

As you´ve maybe recognized, we have a new blog name. The blog is from now on called

"Imaginarium Maailma" (Imaginarium World). I like that name and it will never change again. I think it has something special since everyone has her/his own world full of imagination and so on.

I have gotten the idea from Nightwish´s album and movie and I really love the cover from the movie so I used it also as the new design of this blog. But of course I don´t own this cover.

Welcome here once again. :-)

Imaginarium

You´ve heard for sure already about Nightwish´s new theme album "Imaginarium" and that there will be the album and also a movie with the same title.

I´ve gotten to know yesterday that the first single of the album (surely also with a music video) is planned to be released in the end of 2011. The album is scheduled to the beginning of 2012, if everthing goes well and the movie will have its premiere also somewhere in 2012 but they don´t know it exactly when. They plan to release the movie on DVD and they hope that the movie will also be played in some cinemas or little show theatres.

They will start shooting the movie in coming spring but they haven´t any actors yet but soon they´ll cast some actors. They are searching for native English speaking people since the movie should be in English, for everyone to understand.

I´m very excited about both, the album and the movie! I was just a bit sad and disappointed that the album will be scheduled to 2012 and not as planned in autumn 2011 but we can´t change it and I´m sure Tuomas and the guys are coming up with something very big and successful! :-) We just have to wait and see ...

A lot of things coming up!

In two weeks I´ll visit a friend of mine who lives on the border to Sweden, in West-Finland. It´ll take me aprox. 8 hours to get there by train but I´m sure it´ll be worth it! I´ll stay there from Friday to Sunday and since I have never been in West-Finland, I´m very very excited!

Since I love visiting concerts, I decided to attend as much concerts as possible in the next time. So I bought a concert ticket for Johanna Kurkela´s and Juha Tapio´s concert on the 15th of April in Kuopio. Let´s see if I´ll like it since it´s usually not my favourite kind of music.

On the 16th of April Marco Hietala´s band Tarot will play a concert, also in Kuopio! And of course I´ll go there too! I have seen them just one time unfortunately in Germany and it was my very first concert at that time! :-) I love their music and their humor on stage and it´s always a pleasure to meet them and talk to them.

Then I have gotten to know that Tarja Turunen will give a concert in my hometown in the beginning of May and since I have one week free and will go to my hometown to Germany, I´ll go on this concert too. :-)

I love Tarja´s new album, also if it was a bit strange when I listened to it the first time, but the more you listen to this album, the more you´ll like it! I´m really looking forward to hear my favourite songs of her live. For example "Falling Awake", "I Feel Immortal" or "Archieve Of Lost Dreams". I have watched some videos taken by fans on her concert and I hope she´ll keep the setlist she had on the last concerts since I would really like to hear her covering Bon Jovi´s "Living On A Prayer" or Kim Wild´s "Where Were You Last Night".

I´m so looking forward to those things and of course I´ll take many many photos of everything. ;-)

Sorry for my absence...

I´m sorry that I haven´t written so long in here but I had a lot to do, travelled almost every weekend to some place and during the week I have to work and to learn so it was quite impossible for me to write anything in here ... and if I had time, I was too tired or not really in the mood for it. ;-)

Within the next days I´ll post a lot of blogposts here, with a lot of photos, etc since I haven´t post anything after my trip to Kitee but so many things happened. I´ll post about my christmas and new years eve, my birthday, my holidays in Germany and of course I´ll also post something about the last weekend where I have been at the FME in Helsinki.

But hey... I want to wish you (a bit late, I know) a happy new year 2011 and hopefully it´ll be a good new year for all of us! :-)
