Leaving soon

Tomorrow I´ll leave back to Germany and I´ll be there about 4 weeks until I get back to Finland ...

There´ll be a lot to do like more packing, finnishing driving-licence, meeting friends and family and so on. :-)

TV-evening ;)

Just came back from town and now I´ll try to watch all of my favourite german tv-series I have missed today or yesterday. Luckily it´s possible to watch them online! :)

Here we go:

At first "Unter Uns" which means something like "Within Us" in English. It´s playing in Cologne, Germany in a famous street there called "Schillerstrasse" and there is a more-family house and they are all connected with eachother. Like family, friends, girlfriend/boyfriend and so on. It´s really funny, sometimes sad and exciting but always really cool to watch! I watch it everyday since years and I never get bored. ;) Unfortunately a lot of actors or actresses who I really liked left the serie, like Birte Glang a couple of months ago. But good luck to her! :)

Another similar serie is "Alles Was Zählt" which means something like "Everything that counts" and it´s playing in Essen, Germany and usually it´s mostly about the family Steinkamp which has a big sportscenter and they always have some problems within the family or with success and the sportscenter or something else. It´s probably more dramatic than Unter Uns is but also really nice to watch! And it´s not just about family Steinkamp. There are also other families or living communities which are somehow connected with family Steinkamp but they have their own things. ;)

Another favourite serie of me is "Daniela Katzenberger". She´s a german show girl and she´s absolutely funny! She moderated already some tv-shows, she has an own Café on Mallorca, where she doesn´t work anymore since she has too much to do with other things and she has an own tv show since some months. It showed her daily live and now she is searching for a new showgirl, so it´s kind of a casting show. ;)

The other thing I´ll watch today is "Goodbye Deutschland", which is a tv-serie about people who are moving to another country. They can apply there and then a camera team films them for some weeks/months and you can see how complicated/easy it is to move to a country, which things you need to know and bla bla bla. ;)

So now I need to start watching, otherwise I´d be sitting here until the early morning. ;)

Shopping was successfully!

Sooo I have found and also bought a new couch today. I´ll get it in August, since I´m in Germany for July. :)

It´s really beautiful! Here it is:

It´s of course black and it has some ornaments in the pillows (like flowers) and it´s so soft to sit on it! :) I´m sure also my two lovely cats will like it!

I have bought a lot of other stuff too, but I´ll post photos of it later since I´m already heading to town by bike soon.

"Shopping"-Part I over

So I went to the bank to manage some things, went to the office where I have gotten the flat and signed the contract and bought a DVD for the kids.

My guestchild Hanna had celebrated her birthday (which is on the midsummer weekend) already that last friday with friends since on midsummer no one has time to celebrate a birthday ´cause all are going to their summer cottages with their friends.

My present for her was the first DVD of the Shrek movies and she absolutely loved it! :)

So today I thought we could rent the second one but since the "video-rent office" was still closed, I thought I´ll buy the second one also for them. I arrived home and we immediately watched it. :)

I can recommend it! It´s a really nice and funny movie!

But later, when I have free from work it´s going to the REAL shopping. ;)

Shopping?

Good morning to everyone!

Today I´m thinking about going shopping for my flat. That means just some things I could reserve or buy and keep then at my friend´s place until I come back from Germany in the end of July/beginning of August.

So let´s see if I find something today, like a couch, bed or dinnertable and chairs or at least some accessoires.

Kitee, 04.06.2011

About one week ago I have been in Joensuu with a friend and I decided to go by train to Kitee. But since we arrived too late in Joensuu and I missed my train, my friend drove me to Kitee, which is about 40 minutes (by car) away from Joensuu. There we met my friend, who´s living in Kitee for a coffee and my german friend drove back to Joensuu, since I had to do some things in Kitee.
I had a really nice day in Kitee, it was the perfect weather for driving and walking around and to take some photos.

Not so many people live in Kitee actually, but Kitee itself is quite big from the ground. It has a little town, but you can find everything you need there and the surrounding is so beautiful!

It´s the typical finnish nature there and it´s so silent! I like the silence in Kitee, since you can be alone and just being in the nature, without stress, hurry and those things.

I remember when I was in Kitee in March, and everywhere has been snow and it was so cold!

But I like Kitee in winter AND in summer! :) It´s a really small, but beautiful town!

In winter I walked with my friend over the frozen lake and this time we just stopped with the car in front of the lake and watched and took photos. It was such a strange but also great feeling to remember that you walked over the frozen lake 3 months ago and now you can see the dark blue colour of the lake and no snow or ice anymore.

I always enjoy the beautiful scenery there and it´s just so relaxing!

Especially when you usually go to Joensuu and just make a stop in Kitee or go there for a few hours, it s so different! Joensuu is a really nice city too, especially in summer, but it´s a big city, so a lot of people live there and it´s full everywhere mostly.
The weekend we have been there were the graduating parties of the students, so it was really full everywhere and it was nice to relax in Kitee a bit before. :)

This photo was taken at Kitee´s church. There´s a way around the church and it has a really beautiful garden there!

It was so hot on that day that my friend and me needed to buy something to drink before going there.

When I´m in Kitee, I always visit that church, going to Kiteenjärvi lake or some other lake, going to buy something in Kupiainen and driving around with my friend. :)

The thing I love about Kitee is that you can see so far, what you can also see on that photo! Again I have to say, it´s so relaxing! :) And of course BEAUTIFUL!

In Kitee there´s also a small baseball stadium, where Kiteen Pallo plays really often home games.
On the 31st of May there has been a home game of Kiteen Pallo and I would have liked to go there really much but since it´s always a longer way to travel from my town, then also a bit expensive and since it was a tuesday it was impossible for me to go there. :(

But hey, they play more often there and one day I´ll go there for sure! I have also heard now that the intro of the home games of Kiteen Pallo is a compilation of song number 11 on Nightwish´s new album "Imaginarium" and of course it would be interesting to hear that. But just because of that I cannot go there. Too expensive and too less time at the moment, so I´ll have to wait until the finnished album gets out or until they put some songs (test-hearing) on their website or facebook.

I wrote a lot now about the church in Kitee ...

 ... and here on the left side it is. :) It´s a really beautiful church! I have never been in there unfortunately, but I have seen that church in winter, in spring and in summer, so a lot of times and it always look beautiful!

Especially this photo I took the last time, I like really much! Blue sky, green grass and trees ... what do you wanna have more? ;)

New little member :-)

Since my cat Kiran is still in Germany at a friend´s place who has 2 other cats at home, he is used to have more cats around and it would be too cruel to take him back from there to live again "alone". So I thought it´s time to search a friend for him and I have found a little cat-girl. She´s a holy birma cat and really cute! I´ll get her in July and I´m so excited!

Both cats will have the time to get used to eachother -and to me again- before we are going on the trip from Germany to Finland with them. I have decided that we go by ferry since it´s so much easier for pets! It takes longer than with an airplane but in the high cats can get problems with their ears and they don´t know how to handle with that. A person knows what to do if you get that bad feeling in the ear when you fly, but not animals. Since you cannot explain anything to them what´s happening and they don´t know what to do they can get really "depressed" of that and can also get a bad shock attack! The other point was that I asked some flight-enterprises if I could take two cats with me inside the cabine. Air-Berlin and Finnair said just one cat in the cabine for one person and since I would fly alone, I cannot take two with me in the cabine and I don´t want to put them down of the airplane. So I decided to take the ferry which makes all much easier. There are special cabines for pets, that means that you can let them out of their box, you can take two pets in one cabine, it´s much cheaper than by airplane and when you check in, the ferry personal will take you on the shortest way to your cabine to make it

as less stressful for them as possible and that´s really good! It´s a long trip by car too, but you can make a stop very often, to let them out, etc so that won´t be a problem I hope! :-)

I´m just looking forward to get my cat Kiran back and to get the little girl and I hope they will like eachother and are both ready for our adventure in Finland! :-)

Moving

I´m in a hurry again and that´s why I don´t write so much at the moment here. I would have a lot to write in here but actually I don´t have the time at the moment. But I´ll catch it up time by time. ;)

Since I got the beautiful news that I have passed the school here in Finland I need of course a flat.
BUT in Finnland you need to have some conditions to get a flat and in my situation I need to wait for the school letter which will arrive next week on Thursday. Without it I cannot sign a contract. But let´s see. Today I´ll watch a second flat and I hope it´ll be good as the last one.

yesterday I have gotten the message that I have passed the test on the school I was talking about. :-)

I´m so happy!!!

Now there are a lot of things to organise, since I can and will stay here in Finland and in this town here! :-)
I´ll keep you updated! A lovely friend of mine gave me that song-tipp here and I´m listening to it all the time.
